About Ricketts Law
Ricketts Law is the law practice of Morgan Ricketts, who began her career in downtown Los Angeles after graduating from Harvard Law School in 2009. The firm now serves international clients in Asia and Europe, as well as individuals and businesses all over Southern California. The firm has an intellectual passion for the law, a love of trial work, and a belief that client satisfaction comes before firm profits.
Ricketts Law is committed to giving back to the community, and has donated over one thousand hours of volunteer and pro bono work since its inception in 2012. Morgan Ricketts has provided free on-the-ground legal advice to political protesters, served as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster youth, provided pro bono criminal defense to a woman who was charged with a crime for filming the police, and taken on civil cases at a reduced cost for indigent clients.
Morgan Ricketts is a 2009 graduate of Harvard Law School and has been a lawyer for clients including Mattel, Station Casinos, the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences, Ticketmaster, the Los Angeles Unified School District, well-respected local and international nonprofit organizations, community groups, as well as individuals and small businesses in virtually all kinds of cases. Morgan now focuses on real estate-related litigation, defamation cases, and breach of contract cases. Morgan learned to speak Mandarin during her undergraduate study at UCLA and through several extended trips to China, and continues to enjoy speaking with Chinese clients to maintain her skill level.
